Cole Palmer

He scores and creates a lot of goals for Chelsea, but would he have done this for City, even if he got regular game time? We’ll never know, but glad he has shown what a superb academy we have
 
I watched a lot of Cole at youth and EDS level and was a big fan of his but I am astonished at how well he has done since joining Chelsea. It is a shame that he didn't really make the jump to the first team and got injured in the season before last. There were signs at the start of last season that he was on course for a good season but I guess wheels were in motion for his exit by then.
While he is posting goal and assist numbers that exceed those of all our wingers and attacking midfielders put together this thread will have traction.

Problem is this was more than muted by many the day rumours went around that we were selling him...He is undoubtedly a rare talent - that we nurtured since the age of 8!!! it's such a shame as the couple of showings (Charity Shield and friendly in US) he looked great, great touch etc .He left about 4 x days before Kev's injury..sod law but i wish we fought harder to keep him. England youth star all the way up the ages - that gives you a clue re his ability. Many many people said this from the day of the rumours let alone the sale...ahhh well

Cole Palmer is way ahead of Bobb as a player lets have it right. All these people trying to fk Cole off because he wanted to play (go out on loan) it's a shame most rich academy kids haven't got the will to play Cole Palmer demonstrates - a very sad loss for us blues

With that talent = yes.. We haven't got a free kick taker as technically proficient as him either - will run Haaland for Pens as well. We are kiddng ourselves if we don't believe he would make our current team better! Ok Pep would have adapted the system to suit, but Pep is great at accommodating good players - and he chases back for Chelsea too before we get all that
