What’s the actual point of releasing him? I can’t see one at all. It’s not as though he’s likely to get a job as his age so even more of a worry about what he’d be able to get up to with time on his hands.

There is no point, he should die in prison as should all murdering nonces. Until they can alter that section of their brain that makes them that way they will never change. If they have to be strictly monitored once released they should be in the place where they are fully monitored, a prison cell.

Raped and murdered 2 children years apart. The behaviour of waiting to do it again indicates a deep depraved desire that can't be cured. This wasn't an in the moment one off crime and he will always represent a danger to women and young girls.

Us old uns remember when a person got 30 years for a straight forward murder.
32 years for two separate child rape/murders is a sad reflection on where we are heading.
The overworked and under funded probation service will not be able to monitor him. I can only hope he can't cope in the real world and commits a minor crime just to be caught and sent back. Sadly I don't think that will happen

I'm actually in favour of the scandi justice system. I think our prison system sadly breads reoffenders. However there becomes a point where a person is too damaged or too deprived and has done too horrible things to 1) ever be reformed and 2) ever be forgiven.

This bastard fits that bill.

I fully believe in educating, training and rehabilitation for theives. They can reform and many do. A double child rapist ?
