I know they did not write it, but Dermot Morgan and Ardal O'Hanlon are what makes Father Ted special.

Also a bit shocked not to see Sacha Baron Cohen mentioned. There has not been anyone who has been as consistently funny over the last 20 years, than some of his characters.

Game for a laugh and Beadles about were piss funny too.

The whole series of Him & Her was very sharp but The wedding scenes finale managed to embarrass me through the tv screen

11 pages and not one single shout for Leonard Rossiter (?) Probably best to describe him as an actor rather than a comedian but his timing with sublime.

The Cinzano ads alone are some of the funniest TV I've ever seen.

Yep
