if they are doing it on the thursday then they have got to use the swamp or even goodison.
We can agree...That Manchester City Football team are the best team in the land ..and all the world about. That there is no doubt bud. ..and it's a Domestic Quadruple in my book....you see opinions differ...
But what I. .and @worsleyweb were saying.is.Wembley is wank.and we are allowed to articulate such viewpoints on BM..as we have being doing....long before u showed up pal...
As I said to @worsleyweb , and the same I would say to you, your opinions about Wembley are relevant. They are quite strong in fact.
Can I ask you two questions;
1; What is it about your recent visits to Wembley that you have found so negative. ?
2;When you compare Wembley to say Selhurst Park, or trying to get to White Hart lane, or the London stadium view, is Wembley so much worse ?
I know from previous correspondence that you have strong views so I would love to read your thoughts on those two.
I have found no more issues with Wembley than other away grounds, and less in certain aspects.
The area around it is grim.
The beer in the local pubs is shite.
The chicken in the jerk man literally nearly killed me.
The ground does not do a lot for me
It feels sanitised
There are inevitably coked up knobheads
I find getting way from there a chore and takes for ever - much the same reason I don't do Palace very often.
I have been too many times - simple as that.
I tend to do between 5 and 10 away a season and like to experience different places and grounds.
Much like I would not be in a desperate rush to go to Arsenal every season I don't feel the need to go to Wembley every year
And certainly not for a charity shield against the scousers when it is holiday season.

Go. Don't go. Your choice. Nobody cares. It's the endless needy attempts to justify your decision to the world at large that bores the arse off me.
What are you on about - "endless needs to justify." I said it once and someone asked me why I did not like it. so I answered them - Knobhead.
My point was, just don't go, don't explain to the world why you're not going. Dickhead.
Did I read on here somewhere that because we won both we could invite whoever we wanted to be our opponents.
If so we should invite a club that is really struggling to generate some cash
If you put Community Shield 2019 into Google it comes up as Thursday 1 August. This has to be a piss take surely?
this relates to the Community Shield."Go. Don't go. Your choice...." and "My point was, just don't go..."

GortonBlue62 has summarised how so many of us feel and are now expressing it - take a view, make a decision, get on with it, move on.
Yet, and this is a general observation, there are a few who skew threads with their individual negativity and repetitive, self justification, when it would be better, for the majority who read even if they are not regular posters, if they refrained.
A few years ago there was a `Positive Thread` on here. It`s about time it returned. There is much that is good and worth writing about.
Excuse me - but I think you may in part be referring to me. With all due respect I think I made one post saying I wasn't going to this game as I was not too fused about Wembley. You came from knowwhere and made a bit of a sarcastic comment about negativity - someone asked me why I did not want to go and I listed why and then some knob from Gorton said stop going on! and then you come back and make another fucking daft post. Now I have made many many daft posts on Blue Moon over eleven years as part of my 22000 plus posts but your ratio in your first 212 is making even mine look good. Who are you with 212 posts to start telling people they cant post reasons why they might not fancy going to this game?
I promise I wont say anything negative ever again then even when asked why I don't like something! - if you have been lurking over the years you will know that when it comes to City I am one of the most positive posters on here.
