But a concession nonetheless and a tacit admission that they got it wrong originally.
It's NOT a victory of any kind.

The matter goes MUCH further than this location or time ,despite it affecting us on this occasion.

The FA PL,SKY etc promised to put fans first following the ESL fiasco.

Hollow words.

Fans are treated arrogantly and appallingly and now is the opportunity to make a public stand and garner support from the wider football base.

We must not only stand by our guns, but raise the stakes and profile by engaging with all Manchester based MPs and get questions asked in Parliament.

BOYCOTT...and exercise your right to donate to a charity of your choosing !!

Who is your MP in the UAE?

And double price for taxis. @Stephen230 is always saying the opposite, no matter what the topic.
I can only speak for myself. Before any boycott was announced I said I wasn't going. City play an under strength team and rightly treat it as a friendly. The FA treat it as a cash cow and us as fuckwits. 200 miles to a shithole stadium with overpriced tickets and beer.
I don't do friendlies and I won't watch this on TV, why give advertisers the money, it defeats a boycott. I give my full backing to 1894 and anyone else that supports them.

I wasn’t saying the opposite of anything. I was merely stating a fact that even with a 5.30 kick off and the game going to penalties, anybody could have comfortably made it back to Euston for the last couple of direct trains, without rushing in the slightest. With a 4 pm kick off, they’ll be a choice of at least another couple of trains.

That’s not a contrary opinion. It’s a simple statement of fact.

We need to demonstrate a structure and strategy of professionalism and pragmatism....not uncoordinated, enthusiastic amateurs.

The FA, City, media etc will now keep their heads down and hope this all fizzles out through the summer.

We need to be militant disrupters and target FA assets etc.

Mancunians are famed World wide for our belligerence and support of worthwhile causes.

It was that mentality that stuffed scousers with the Manchester Ship Canal, fought the military police at Peterloo, backed the abolition of slavery and spawned the spirit of Emily Pankhurst.

This campaign needs a NATIONAL IDENTITY to rally behind and a credible personality the front it.

The BLACK FLAG CAMPAIGN has a ring to it and others will have ideas regarding a front man or woman to front it.

If there are 50 fans prepared to lobby the FA offices at their head quarters at St George's Park,Burton on Trent, I'll organise and pay for a return coach journey.

A half day demo, with media presence, will raise the profile and alert the FA to the fact that we know where they 'live'.

A coordinated 'visit' to Wembley can also be considered.

'If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for everything'

Thoughts ?

You are so right - when I was on the FSA committee we'd try and get campaigns going to help save a club or make them aware of an issue another club's fans were dealing with and it was the same.reply every time -
Fuck them (insert rags / scousers / cockney / brummie etc etc etc) twats.
The German's do it a lot. They will put down their rivalry and stand / march side by side demonstrating whatever issue.
Here the FA know we are too busy shouting "empty seats / dippers" at each other and waving inflatable European Cups at rival fans.
Twice fans have stood together and both times we got the result- Game 39 and the Euro Super League.

We can have it all, but how much do you wan'-it

I remember about 15/20 years ago, fans came together and supported Brighton one year. Shirts of different colours all over the stadium.

How many fans can a train take ?
Have you ever stood up for 3 hours on a Euston train after Wembley? I have been rammed onto one, it is not a pleasant experience.
£100 plus to be in a cattle truck that Defra would condemn.
So, I ask again, have you ever travelled back by train from the FA cash cow ?
