Fucking too right brother. Who does this 1894 Group think they are with their Stasi style statements? We should organise a sky blue foam hand for everyone who goes to demonstrate our freedom of choice. We’ve been infiltrated by fascist mobs! I remember my old Mum getting diagnosed with Diabetes. The first thing she did was go out and buy a big fuck off jar of Marmalade. I’ll be there with my sky blue foam hand and jar of Marmalade! Up yours 1894 Group!

What I mean is I’m not going.
Oh here we go. Lol!

If you want to go, go. Nobody is stopping you.

The 1894 statement was released in conjunction with the 3 named City Matters Reps.

The statement was released after it became clear and apparent that a large section of our fan base wasn't happy about the kick off time and weren't prepared to go.

As an example, see the current snap poll, 5 to 1 in favour of a boycott.

Whilst I understand what went on was a disgrace I can't see us boycotting a match we've never been in before for a trophy we've never won
I agree boycotts are a bit daft in my opinion, if you want to go it doesn't make you some kind of leper its not the miners strike for Christ's sake.Exactly same if you don't want to go.

No of course I dont think people will boycott a Champs League final or a Super Cup final regardless of cost, difficulty of location, organisation responsible etc but then I find it difficult to be told I should boycott another match, when the cost , difficulty of location, organisation responsible etc is much more palatable than the match I last attended.

The thing about undertaking a boycott is it means more if there is a sacrifice by those not attending, but lets be honest many fans don't fancy this, including myself, which is fine, but lets not dress it up as a boycott and encourage/put pressure on others not to attend.
Why don't they fancy it?

Could it be Wembley overkill, prices, time of the match, time to get there for a ridiculous friendly?

It shouldn't be at that ground or at that time, enough is enough.

Could we have another snap poll how many were going before a boycott was decided on, who now aren't.

Did you read my last line? ;-)

Everyone has a right to there own opinion but sorry if I am letting fans and fan groups down or maybe I am mad as some would suggest watching a friendly.Watching and supporting City is what I do. I am lucky I am not affected by the time of the match just the distance. I already had a hotel booked and paid for. I do hope the boycott achieves its objectives and also stops our game's from being played overseas.
