I was on the fence about this one, but will make sure I go now, I won't be told which games I can & can't attend.

The game is always at Wembley, it's nearly always on a Sunday. The only surprise is the kick off time. If it was CL or FA cup final there would be no talk of a boycott.

If people don't want to go, then feel free, but don't try and tell everyone else what they should do.
Our season cards have 14,000 points therefore we don't get to many away games. So cup games are essential ways to get my grandson to different away games. We will be there for sure. CTID

Could we have another snap poll how many were going before a boycott was decided on, who now aren't.
I wasn't going to go. I'll never set foot in that ground for a Charity Shield match again.

But I'm delighted there's something organised that will help us make a statement that we're unhappy with how shabbily they treat us time and again.

I will also gladly make a contribution to MCFC Foodbanks.

Oh here we go. Lol!

If you want to go, go. Nobody is stopping you.

The 1894 statement was released in conjunction with the 3 named City Matters Reps.

The statement was released after it became clear and apparent that a large section of our fan base wasn't happy about the kick off time and weren't prepared to go.

As an example, see the current snap polll, 5 to 1 in favour of a boycott.
I do think the poll should be more specific.
I'm all for the boycott, but living in Florida obviously I won't be going.
I think the poll should be
Would you go to the game if the kick off was 12.30pm

3pm

5.30pm

I had no intention of going at all

As has been said, those with no intention of going are hardly boycotting the game

Well let's have it at 7.30pm then, as long as the money is going to Chariddeee that's all right.

You just want 19:30, so it's better for you to watch on TV in the US!

The kick off time is a piss take but there's people saying they have had too many visits to Wembley and it's not about the kick off time.

That is the time & that is the venue, if people don't want to go then they don't have to. If we could get them to change the time, I would be in favour of that, but there's people thinking they are going to start their own version of the Arab Spring, wanting the venue changed "for the people"!

Sorry, no I didn't. :-)
It does help if I read all of the post before replying.
I wasn’t going to go anyway as my own 1 man boycott achieving nought. If you get 30% not going who were planning to its a result. These things start somewhere. Let’s hope it grows and spreads amongst the North West clubs. We’ve all got skin in the game.

Tell them all to wear a mask, you’ll get 100% compliance.

Lights the blue touch paper and retires for the evening. :D

Me neither not because a boycott though I've run out of holidays spent a shitload on FA cup semi and final even more on Madrid and Istanbul. It's more the current lady friend has placed an embargo. :-)
