Doom doom doom! What about all the positives? First how much smarter did we look in the tunnel pre match and second.............Well actually that was it I suppose but we did look smart, apart of course from the awful blue shorts.

We blew a 2 goal lead at Wembley in a derby, but at least we looked smart in the tunnel.

Not picking on you or being critical, it just made me lol.

Looking on the bright side, we were utter dross, man u played out of their skins and it still took a last minute howler for them to beat us.

good point. On the bright but yet dark side, even with big money players our soul still remains, as today was the return of Typical City.

Yep - we got Clichy'd. He lets it bounce and nods it to Vinnie or he lets it bounce, chest traps it and loops it back to Joe. Two easy choices to take all the danger out of the moment. Inexplicably he instead veers away leaving a baffled VK in a do-or-die situation. VK died. Miserably. Tell you what tho' - VK knows about Clichy now - and without costing us in a points in the table.

My God. 100% Kompany's ball. 100% Kompany's mistake.

There was, at the time, nobody on our left wing and so Clichy had nothing to protect. Agree Vinny's attempted clearance was not the best but had Clichy come across to the ball (and he was nearest) Vinny would have been able to go back and protect Joe. Just don't see it as 100% VK's fault or near.

Bad communication from two players learning each other is all... glichy thought that vinnie was getting the ball and peeled away to make room for a pass. Vinnie didnt get the ball and was left in no mans land.. Nani scored.

According to Goal.com, Dzeko was City's Man of the Match, while Kompany was Flop of the Match.

If there was ever a game I was not arsed losing in this was it!

We were in this game because we won the FA cup.

We have not lost any points

We are a game fitter and more prepared for the season ahead

no injuries to key players

The rags can win all the friendlies, we will win the games that matter!

Whilst it's true Clichy should have been more decisive Vinnie obviously took control of the situation and had time to pass it to the side or hoof it, he had options, instead he tried to be clever ( it's the type of thing Ferdinand does often) and got mugged, Kompany will admit that himself, he's the type of bloke who'll tell it as it is, hopefully he learns from it.
