If there was ever a game I was not arsed losing in this was it!

We were in this game because we won the FA cup.

We have not lost any points

We are a game fitter and more prepared for the season ahead

no injuries to key players

The rags can win all the friendlies, we will win the games that matter!
but we wont.

There was, at the time, nobody on our left wing and so Clichy had nothing to protect. Agree Vinny's attempted clearance was not the best but had Clichy come across to the ball (and he was nearest) Vinny would have been able to go back and protect Joe. Just don't see it as 100% VK's fault or near.

Bad communication from two players learning each other is all... glichy thought that vinnie was getting the ball and peeled away to make room for a pass. Vinnie didnt get the ball and was left in no mans land.. Nani scored.

Whilst it's true Clichy should have been more decisive Vinnie obviously took control of the situation and had time to pass it to the side or hoof it, he had options, instead he tried to be clever ( it's the type of thing Ferdinand does often) and got mugged, Kompany will admit that himself, he's the type of bloke who'll tell it as it is, hopefully he learns from it.

Learning from mistakes make a strong man stronger.

In a strange sort of way, this was a great result for us.

First, it was a only a friendly so no harm done. But also, I think there has been a bit you much cocky-ness about us - fans and players alike. A sort of expectation that the title is ours just for turning up. Hopefully we will learn from this.

Thought I would wait a few hours before I gave my views on what turned out to be a shitty afternoon.
I am certainly not fucking suicidal like I imagine many to be on here as I am a glass half full man. At the end of the day we lost a pre season match in a charity game all be it to the rags who in my opinion deserved to win. No I don't like saying that but it's true.
I can forgive Vinny for his error because he rarely makes mistakes like that. i just thought we looked a bit nervous today and they looked faster and fitter. Looking how they celebrated winning the CHARITY SHIELD said it all to me and I take great solace from that. We weren't a threat to there dominance but I certainly feel we are now (despite playing shit today.)
Sorry but lets win a semi against them and lose the charity shield.I would take that every fucking year so please fellow blues do not be down.Let them have there fucking day. I was over it in 5 minutes. Imagine winning today and losing to Swansea. That is what matters now. The league, not some poxy pre season friendly which the media will have you think puts down a marker but in reality means fuck all. Can't be arsed slagging Mario off anymore but I will-What a ****,glad he got subbed and If I was Khaldoon I would be telling Bobby to Fuck him off ASAP.Milner I am afraid has not justified the money we spent on him but hey I am prepared to give him a go-still.

All in all yes a shitty day but lets hope we get 2-3 more in as we quite clearly need and lets see where we are from there.
Safe trip home to all blues. Glad I got a week off work.

And yes I still fucking detest the cunts so much..

Oh forgot to mention.Thought the ref had a stinker, and the bias cnut Wilkins ruined the whole viewing from home experience for me. Rat boy-I am saying nowt.

Chin up boys 3 pts next Monday evening and today will be forgotten.

Aye Sam, that much is true, better he makes that mistake NOW in a game that means less than any other game we will play from now on this season, Vinnie is exactly the type of bloke who will learn from it.

Something to make people laugh a bit. Bayern lost their opening day match because of:

ChristianMcr Christian Machowski
A mix-up between Jerome Boateng and Manuel Neuer led to Mönchengladbach's winner. #dodgydebuts
