Because when it’s a mid-week match that kicks off at 20:00, nobody bats an eyelid. As soon as it’s not 15:00 on a Saturday at weekend people start having a meltdowns.

See it all the time on here.

A midweek league or cup game is a fixted game at the stadium of the club and will be an allocation of about 2000.
Many times they go down to low points because many bin them off for the exact reason they are a pain to get to unless you take a day off or drive.

This is a game where we more likely will get 12000 tickets, not all them will or mabye can drive down, choosing an accessable ground by train is a no brainer and because it's neutral done easily.

The FA have chosen a bad ground when Elland Rd, Villa Park, The swamp are all easy to get get to and bigger.

I have been to Leicester the last few years, weekend and midweek and we have always drove because trains are a waste of time, more likely will do the same this time, but I still think it is a terrible choice of venue.

Honest to god if your not going great, no need to try and project the negativity to others. It’s far easier and better then a slog to Wembley or another London ground (Emirates and West Ham was spoken about). It’s a ground we will sell out rather then half filling Wembley and it’s max 2.5 hours away.

I get why some folk are apprehensive of the scouse fans. They won’t outnumber us like it was at Wembley ,Think some also forget we’re more than handy ourselves. If you are worried take some barber clippers and the scruffs will run a mile

Be a quality atmosphere and a good day out.

The next year watching city could be one of the best ever.

let’s keep it positive.
Spot on son we are more than capable of defending ourselves and tuning a few of them if need be although I am in no way condoning confrontation or violence. Their all gobshites and full of piss and wind

Its not even terrible on train if it was say 3pm although of course Leeds would be better

If its midweek 7.45 or 8pm are the obvious times for a midweek match. 17.30 on a Saturday, in London, with the chance of extra time, penalties and the award of a cup is just totally stupid and that is why you get the moans oh here.
To right it is. Kick offs at a neutral venue should be 2pm. Gives you plenty of time to get there and plenty of time to get back.

I don't think a ground where you have to compulsary change trains is convenient tbh, no matter the KO time, it's different if you are off to london, norwich etc and you organise split routes to save money.

Also I have had a look and trains are £56rtn, leeds are £17.40- £19.80rtn and birmingham £34, as part of the line the FA have come out with is after the semi they didn't want fans inconvenienced then then picked the most expensive trip outside the south.
