Comparing Speeches: Clinton Vs Obama

I've loved the positivity coming from the democratic convention which unfortunately will be changed to scaring the population shit less when the republicans have theirs.

Maybe the possibility of cranking it up with the Russians during the same week...?

Gosh mat, never had you down as a cynic.
You mean politicians resort to sabre-rattling and war-mongering as a vote-winning tactic?
You wouldn't get that in Britain.
Oh,sorry,I forgot the Falklands/Malvinas.

PMSL!! Just caught wind of a gaffe that's quite epic! It happened at Denver’s Hard Rock Cafe:
Common mistake, new voice:
Former U.S. Rep. Charlie Wilson of Texas, at an event at Denver’s Hard Rock Cafe, got tangled up in the Barack Obama/Osama bin Laden trap. Republican John McCain, Wilson said, would use war as a primary foreign policy tool. “We should be guided and led by Osama bin Laden, I mean by Osama and Biden,” Wilson said, moving quickly to a mid-quote correction. “We need sense and not nonsense, as that last statement was.”

LOL!!
Quite an excellent faux pas, me thinks!

PMSL laughing!!!

Watching Obamas speech on CNN now.

He's making a hell of a lot of promises i hope he can keep.

On the McCain issue, a very shrewd piece of decision making today. He's announced his running mate, and therefore vice president should he win, will be 44 year old Governer of Alaska Sarah Palin. The fact that she's very young, and female, is clearly aimed at trying to take attention away from Obama, and also away from McCain's age.

LOL!! No, it's not. Here's the thing Hills is STILL the forerunner for women. I mean, who the hell is Palin. She's been a Governer for 2years! And, with this as a fact, how the hell is McCain's Republican campaign going to dig at Obama for the 'experience' factor?!!!

How the hell's he going to turn to her for advice??!
