My problem with the proposal is if its voted in whats stopping them from changing all the rules?

It really does take the p*ss that students, 99% of whom will be back at home in Surrey by the time 2013 and the charge come along, are allowed to vote on this. They won't be remotely affected by the proposals.kronkonite said:student vote is 80% yes

I am from Bolton and the reason we are getting a vote is because like me, many people from Bolton work in Manchester and actively contribute to the local economy

Far more people from Cheshire commute into Manchester than the northern regions yet the vote doesn't go past Bramhall. I'm in SK12, I don't get a vote.
