Being a member of our armed forces does not make someone a hero.

The national news should stop feeling obliged to report every military death ('a British soldier has been killed in Helmand Province') unless something exceptional has happened.

Why not? Like I'm not English and I've no strong opinion on the war whatsoever. I'm not too bother, but like, you as an English man, you don't think that a death of a young soldier serving your country doesn't justify a few minutes, usually seconds, mention on the news? Unless the death is due to something exceptional?

The British military are under a lot of scrutiny because of the recent report on Bloody Sunday and I mean fuck it those British soldiers well like I'll not get into my opinion on the British millitarty, but like I guess it's different times, but I suppose for me, anyone who is out in Helmand deserves a bit of respect, but like I said, I'm not English and ye'd know a bit more about it than I would.
