Cook is a clever guy and given a lot of unfair stick!

he is a business man, not a football man. that is his fundamental weakness and it is blatantly obvious. cant see him at city much longer tbh, next mistake and hes out.

And what mistake has he made exactly-getting rid of a very tactically limited manager?

Do you not think his squirming was a tad embarrassing at the conference yesterday? Press have got a major issue with him because he clearly hasn't been telling the truth about Hughes' dismissal and refused to answer questions on the subject.

Just got to give Mancini our full support now. Still doesn't stop Cook being a clown.

considering he had to face those wolves baying for blood no. It was not his decision to sack hughes and he did not deliver the news. i suppose you would have handled it better ?

he had to sit there and take that shit and i appreciate him for doing it !

No I wouldn't have handled it better but then again I'm not paid hundreds of thousands of pounds to be a CEO. Someone was always gonna have to take the shit. Surely Cook was the guy to do it? Would have looked pathetic if it was just Mancini up there.

eh? he didnt even decide to get rid of hughes that was the chairman.

my point is the way he delivered the news and the way he went about it stunk. hes made himself look like a right dick, will never be trusted again and dragged the clubs name through the gutter. like i said, hes a business man and not a football man.

This. Has dropped some major clangers so far and don't think the owners will be impressed how City are now regarded.

Yes it was the Chairman who sacked him and the chairman who wanted him sacked. Cook just had to deal with the after mas. Give the guy a break!
