How many corners did we had today and did we even remotely come close to scoring from any one of them?.Silva is v poor at corner kicks,please kolarov,milner or samir for me.

Set pieces not acceptable today and it doesn't reflect well on Pellegrini that he continued to let Silva take ineffective corners when the best set piece exponent Kolarov twiddled his thumbs

Silva and Nasri are both as bad as each other at corners. Why are they our designated takers? In fact, concerns over why Nasri is even a regular starter were proven today. Chelsea would have probably overrun our midfield had he started.

At least they were above knee level, unlike Navas' at Arsenal. But they were terrible still today.
The one time we've had a decent corner this season we scored from it (Kolarov to Demichelis at Arsenal). He whipped it in. The rest of the time we either dink floaty efforts that Crouch or Costa have headed out at ease of rushed them and crossed to the shins of the first man.

I still don't understand why Ya Ya and Kolorov don't take corners.
We have to of the best dead ball specialists in world football and they don't take corners.
I get the bit about losing hight in the box but surely using them as an extra option but be worth looking at.

we should be putting inswinging corners at pace to the near post to flick on , against teams like stoke and chelsea , kolarov as suggested is ideal for this on the right and jimmy on the left. Chelsea were not bothered at all about conceding corners , we just were not a threat today
