Corners

I'm beginning to think we do practise corners and silva is under instruction to kick a high, floating out swinger to the edge of the 18 yard box. There's no other explanation as he executes the same kick every single time. It's pretty impressive consistency actually.

Probably another example of pellegrinis bullishness. "We WILL score from one of these kicks. Until then it's the only corner we take!"
 
Mp can't take the blame for this imo they are professional F ING footballers they should be able to score a corner
 
Kolorov hasnt been taking some bad corners lately, a few that weve nearly scored now...doubt we'll go the whole season scoring one goal from a corner, we'll probably score it at the swamp just watch haha

We have 4 goals in our last 8 derbies from Corners iirc so you might be right :)
 
Usual turgid wank corners today.

We won't score from a corner until the "Engineer" is sacked.
 
Rename the thread "corners and throw-ins". We created a Burnley chance from one of our throw-ins today and had another in a good area and threw it straight to Burnley. There is no care and attention to detail and it's annoying. A great team should aim to master every facet of a football game, whether it's goal scoring or using ball boys to get the ball back fast and retain tempo. The entire setup exudes laziness and complacency right now. We need perfectionists on the pitch and off the pitch. It looks like we have some off the pitch given the standard of the facilities but fewer on the pitch and touchline.
 
We need a manager who will not let the players go home to their mansions until they have successfully scored 100 corners in a row each day in training. The players probably tell Pellegrini they don't want to practice them and he's like "that's ok lads lets all have a hug and go home early"
 
We seem not to know what to do. Each corner today seemed to be aimed at a different area, with a different pace on it etc. As LC says, we should be targeting every area to use to our advantage. But with something as fundamental as corners, I really don't understand how we can look so amateur.
