At the moment the opposition seem to score more goals from our corners than we do
Might as well just tap it out of play from the corner itself, and not bother bringing anyone forward.warringtonblue said:Maybe we would be better taking a short corner then wellying it into the stands, and get back to defend the dead ball kick. It would stop them from scoring, lol
They wouldn't have reached him.KnaresboroughBlue said:Didn't we score from one last week?
It doesn't help though when one of our biggest aerial threats (Kompany) wasn't sent forward for any corners yesterday until one near the end.

I think that we may consider the 'quim a bigger threat....ll
Joe Hart's Dandruff said:Silva and Nasri are both as bad as each other at corners. Why are they our designated takers? In fact, concerns over why Nasri is even a regular starter were proven today. Chelsea would have probably overrun our midfield had he started.

Why can't MP see this? It's clear as day. It's like they just don't care - the shortest guy playing on the right side takes corners from the right and the same for the left side. Hence the fruitless outswingers that more often create breakaway chances for the opponents than real chances for us. Yaya from the left and Kola from the right would be the obvious choices.GaudinoMotors said:Inswingers or short from now on. Outswingers just aid the opponents counter attacks.
