She says Scotland about 3/ 4 weeks behind London, so doing it now should prevent us reaching anywhere near London levels. Thing is though she has said the last weeks cases have yet to feed through to hospitals. So if Boris doesn't act now then London hospitals are going to be in real troubles and more deaths than necessary.
Can’t believe he is still dithering.
She also estimated by end of January about 900,000 in Scotland will have had the first dose of vaccine, so that would be about 20%. assume equates to about 10 million in the UK So hopefully February should see a lifting of lockdowns.

She comes across far batter than any politician in Westminster. Unfortunately I don't think they've dealt with it any better than the rest of the UK in terms of managing to protect the vulnerable population.

i have seen her say her great regret is not acting sooner at the start , very honest of her, she also said today she is more concerned now than since march , she might not be perfect but she tells people exactly what to do and when
