There is also the suggestion that ASTRA ZENECA jab reduces transmission.
Meanwhile, Macron and others continue to say this drug is not safe or not effective and UK taking risks. No evidence at all for these assertions. Disgraceful. Presumably, then, the French will not want any of this jab.

It’s brilliant news that the Oxford / AZ vaccine reduces the transmission of Covid, significantly.

That’s a real game changer. I was trying to get my head around how they establish that. Does anyone have any idea?

i think it will strat to drop quite fast give it another week, we all know these numbers are the xmas and new year infections,,i posted about a neighbour having a xmas party and a new year party a few pages back and there attitude was 'we do what we want' well they dont anymore because there both dead at that house,i ask myself was it worth it

From Christmas Eve to New Year’s Day, there were various groups of people in-and-out of their house. Police called a few times from different people up the street, they told some people they didn’t care, don’t believe in Covid being this big pandemic it’s being made out to be, that it’s “just a new cold virus”, and everyone grassing them up were cunts...

First week in January the woman from that house, late60s, took ill; two weeks later she was dead.

The worrying thing is, my Sister’s husband’s parents also have this exact same attitude! Took a lot of arguing and close-to falling out language from me to get my Sister on my side of thinking after she was putting pressure on our Mam+Dad to let them go round so the kids could see their Nannie and Grandad. They did go round a couple of times when we were in the Tier system which meant hey shouldn’t have.

At the same time as this, my Brother-in-law’s parents were having gatherings for Sunday dinners round their house for all their kids and grandkids.

Thankfully my Mam+Dad saw sense had a word with my Sister, and then my Sister changed her attitude too.

I wouldn't want these twats anywhere near a hospital, goodness knows what they might do.
Probably, many couldn't afford the fines also.

yaaaayy - daughter in bed for 5 days having tested positive and wife same for 3 days and finally our £23bn world beating track and trace has called........ when they rang to speak to our daughter we told them - truthfully - she was in bed exhausted. The response? Oh right and the phone goes down - daughter could be at work or the shops but zero interest shown by track and trace. Then they rang the Mrs 10 mins later and told her to stay at home..........thats VFM right there

They have shown asymptomatic cases are dropping in the group, so that means less transmission is occurring. No doubt Oxford have allowed for other reasons in their, so far unpublished, stats.

complete madness when you think about it, those near me in their 50s and thats no age. well they were warned so play with fire you get burnt,but in their circle of social gatherings how many inocents are now being vented or even dead

Well, we all criticise UK and the gov when it deserves it, but this phase of manufacturing drug, jab roll out, and gathering data we have done really well.
