Just spoke to my American friend. Cases in California in lockdown rising. Cases in Florida falling while they not in lockdown.

Cases in california are plummeting according to worldometer.

Yep, they are. My sister in law lives in San Fran outskirts and they are starting to loosen the restrictions now.

Thanks for that, interesting points you’ve raised. But take the Sweden example for instance, why have they managed to get over a peak without doing too much about it? What have countries like Spain, France, Germany, Italy etc done different to us?

There are a lot of recommendations in Sweden, rather than rules, and people follow the recommendations quite well. They have basically stayed the same the whole time as well.

Yeah, I’m sure that is part of it, but not completely.

Yeah I wouldn’t like to put a figure on it but it’s a minority of the count on both deaths and tests.
