Cases are reducing much faster, though testing is so different it's not really a good comparison.

Deaths are also reducing faster, I think.

Afternoon Mosssi, The problem i think the government might have is that people are getting fed up with the lockdowns which are lets be honest half hearted. This current lockdown and the one before Christmas is nothing like the one back in the spring, t just reduces cases down slower than the original lockdown. I think it would be much better for everyone to have a much stricter lockdown for 2 weeks than what we currently have for 2-3 mths.

I must admit to often being confused as to what is law and what is advice.

Please explain why a stricter lockdown with a lot more people staying at home would not brought cases down quicker?

Please explain stricter lockdown first ? What exactly do you think is different from last spring ?

And you're in Trafford? Interesting! My parents local GP is the delamere medical centre in stretford

I'm in Altrincham mate, Barrington medical centre. I mentioned in an earlier post I thought it was a scammer when I got the call. It was 9:30 am and a lad rang. Normally when the surgery calls it's a woman. I thought I'd be months away but hey ho it was genuine so I'm jabbed.

Because milions more people have had it since then and milions more of the most vulnerable have been vaccinated?

If it's true, and must be easy to check, then probably by better understanding where not to lockdown and where to lockdown.

So its not the lockdown that is bringing the cases down faster.

That doesn't mean that a stricter lockdown wouldn't bring the cases down even quicker would it?
