It isn't petty.

Many have been furloughed or have lost their jobs and stayed at home to protect those who would be first in the queue for a vaccine. A bit toss for those vaccinated to enjoy liberties ahead of those who've been impacted the hardest.

Just implement when everybody has been offered the vacc.

Nah, sooner we start improving the economy, the better for all. Especially the young who are going to be hit hardest when this is over. Travel industry employs youth, older people spend the money.

More really good numbers and just like England that positivity number is tumbling.

And that helps both the young and the economy, especially that sector that’s on its arse how exactly by making everyone wait a few more months? And practically let’s say Spain says you need a vaccine but France doesn’t. So everyone can travel to France but nobody is allowed to Spain until some later date? I agree that it’s unworkable domestically but for international travel surely we need to get it moving as soon as. should only be a month or two in between anyhow?

Zoe app yesterday predicted 9651 cases in UK and we got 8489

Today it predicts 9684.

For those who do not know - Zoe app records people reporting to them with Covid symptoms across large numbers in the UK day to day and creates maps of where most people think they might have Covid from these symptoms but may not yet have tested positive.

So it is educated guesstimation and potentially a day or so ahead of the actual numbers.

Not predictive other than broadly but often a good guide and is rarely very far out

The young have sacrificed their freedoms to protect the lives of vulnerable people.

Vulnerable people who have been vaccinated should then have to sacrifice their freedoms in return to allow for everyone else to to get their jab.

No way should they be allowed to travel if the young aren’t, just because they’ve been vaccinated before them.

By the same argument then it’s a good job we didn’t stop everyone going out (like the young) over the summer when restrictions were relaxed just because a few million couldn’t as they had to remain shielding isn’t it?
