Why though, I just don’t get it what IS the hardship of having to keep your distance and wear a mask in certain places ,supermarkets say or doctors waiting rooms? It’s not any real hardship is it. Certainly not one that would have me grabbing a pitchfork and flaming torch.
The initial quote about social distancing for years to come makes absolutely no sense.Supermarkets, doctors - fine. But you can't blame cynics for thinking it wouldn't end there. Cinemas, gigs, restaurants when you're not eating etc. It's a potentially miserable existence. No one wants that, especially when it quite literally shouldn't be necessary if these jabs do their jobs.
Yeah, I've heard that. Thanks for the heads up though. There was an article last week saying those that had Covid then the jab were more likely to suffer side effects, certainly happened to me and my colleague. Get the paracetamol ready for Tuesday and if necessary whatever you do have a contingency not to work. Good news is the booster is less likely to give you any side effects.
Exactly. I'm sure if we were all to do enough digging then we'd find a plethora of varying opinions on this and all other Covid-related topics. I'm not sure why anyone is taking it as a given. It could end up being a voluntary thing and some may feel comfortable continuing to wear masks even when they aren't compulsory, a bit like you see in a lot of Far East countries.May have been just one opinion in sea of opinions from those in these sciences.
Could refer to globally and perhaps travel...I’ve not really followed it up.
Nailed it!

Personally, I think when you consider the incredible rollout of the jab so far and factor in the efficacy of the vaccine along with how easily we're being told they can be modified to deal with emerging variants then I can see the UK being out of the worst of this and back to relative normality roughly in line with the dates we've seen in the roadmap. It's a different matter for most other European countries and I think they will be a few months behind us but will get there eventually once they're all jabbed up.
The day after after was worse for me, no more than a hangover really, just lethargic and a sore arm, a small price to pay.Yeah, I've heard that. Thanks for the heads up though.
I'm fine, so far...
