Well yes, fake details is one thing, till an undercover cop checks your ID against the manifest let's say. Write your real details down and watch an unscrupulous individual text it to his mates to do a hit on your address whilst he can see you sat in the pub.

What ID are you talking about anyway? You don't need to carry compulsory ID in the UK and I couldn't see anything in the BBC article that said you had to show ID if you couldn't download the app.
The whole of humanity is pitted against the virus but state power is not neutral.Conspiracy theories always make me think of the Mitchell & Webb sketches on conspiracies. At the end it all boils down to “why?” - why would all the worlds governments conspire to fuck their counties/economies due to some “fake” virus so that they can... collect dna of their citizens?? (They could do this for the majority of people without manufacturing a pandemic) Drug their citizens?? Again, why?
Also how are China, the UK, USA, Russia, etc all suddenly on the same team in this conspiracy. And how are so many people involved without info leaks.

Finally booked my first jab in Wales... I'm 57 and friends who are younger got theirs in England well over a month ago but it could be worse... I could be living in France

Can do that by opening when it's safe with no restriction on freedoms. Otherwise you're telling me it's not safe so are wilfully risking people's lives and pretending an app or piece of paper will stop it. It won't. It's just a freedom grab, pushing the boundaries to see what they can take away from a re-opened society and get away with.to protect people from spreading the virus, give workers and others ease of mind that everyone in close proximity has been vaccinated

but what benefit is that to the Government ? it will no doubt cost billions, so i don't see what they would achieve in having people show an app in a Pub.
No but I want to know what's fueling the surge in India. In Europe, there's an explanation. UK variant, and it's entirely consistent with what we know.
