Sounds reasonable - the first batch was reported as being about 500k - the 17M total will be over a much longer timeframe, all of 2021 probably.

Anyone heard what the plan is for the 40-50 year olds in England now? Supposedly vaccination from now to first week of May, but heard that all nhs being told not to offer to this group proactively unless have additional conditions.

I don’t think supply would meet demand if invites were sent out for the next age bracket. So they’re concentrating on second jabs and vaccines for people Under 50 who live with someone with a weak immune system.

Once stocks are replenished, there will be another roll-out for the next age bracket.

That's amazing. Add in those with immunity via infection - surely that's at very, very least 15% of the population too? Either way, it's running out of places to go now.
