Hmmm? One's a frontline gp and the other a director of comm's
A director of comms who goes on the frontline to support his colleagues and has no reason to lie to me. I have known him for nearly 20 years and trust what he says.

I'm no expert at summarising this, but I *think* this is a previously infected person being reinfected with the SA strain, and the reinfection being more severe than the original.

Also opposite of what a customer who works alongside AZ told me.
I do not know anyone who's had a vaccine. I know several old and vulnerable and working people who qualify for 1st lot.
One and a half million done already equates to roughly 1 in 60 people.

Its a logistical nightmare and we should all be patient.

Okay, GM is rising but not yet struggling despite the huge rise in the North West.

As before other parts of the NW driving the big numbers.

Indeed despite the GM total rising from 1583 to 1777 (highest in two months) on a day numbers in UK fell by 10,000 cases - that 194 rise is a modest part of the 1368 increase in the NW.

As a result the % of the NW that GM contributed was down from 27% to 24.9%
