They’re doing it, finally! I’ve been calling for this for months.. they’re finally saying if you don’t follow the rules you will contribute to killing people!

FINALLY!

Boris also said “these people who are outside hospitals protesting and calling this whole thing a hoax simply need to grow up” WELL SAID!

The head of the NHS said “if you’re someone who sneaks into a hospital at nine o’clock and take a picture of an empty corridor and then post that on social media claiming the NHS is not overwhelmed... YOU ARE LYING, and you are contributing to the spread of false information, the virus and deaths” WELL SAID!

FINALLY!

All that was missing there was the army bloke coming in third and saying “we will work with the Police to lock these people up!”
Was one of the clearest and informative press conferences we’ve had.

GM summary:

Manchester still in the 300s. Wigan back over 200. Stockport up again to second highest in 2 months. Trafford still struggling at one of its highest yet. Most other places up (though not all).

But could have been worse.

And WAS elsewhere in the NW.

Liverpool had a gigantic 874 cases today. Highest ever here. And its Pop score rose by a whopping 171. Triple that of Manchester.

Wirral up too at 358 cases (more than Manchester) and a Pop rise of 172.

These are two of the highest rises in the UK today. Indeed so far I have not seen any higher.

Warrington up too with a pop rise of 114. And Cheshire up to some of its highest numbers too

Most of the big rises in the NW are coning from the areas in the lower tiers too long (Merseyside and Cheshire) and most of the areas impacted in GM the most - Trafford and Stockport - areas where people from Cheshire would have most easily visited pre lockdown. And vice versa of course.

Doubt these are coincidences.

Roads far too busy still, Rammy hardly centre of a major city, lol, but constant drone of traffic passing my house for the last couple of hours. Piss poor.

I take it this is a prelude to your “look away now if you’re in Merseyside or the Wirral”?
I am doing the data as I post so I just do a running commentary before I actually know.

But it was not hard to guess the likely explanation.

But until you do the numbers you never actually know.

It could easily flip the other way so best not to assume day to day. Though the pattern is well developed as to how things are going right now.

Very strong!

They’re now talking about it in the News room too.

It’s needed! Too many people aren’t following the rules and they need telling and putting in their place.

I’ve seen posts on the politics forum exusing people for breaking the rules just because the government or other people in big positions have.

I’ll repeat, you have to be one special **** to break covid rules just because you see an MP doing so.
