Super fast response to request for % 80+ thank you!

Very interested to see where that goes; I think there's about 4 million 80+, and we've already vaccinated a million or so, so that number *should* trend down almost immediately.
It'll probably take a three to four weeks you don't get any immunity probably till a week after vaccination and its maybe three weeks from infection to death on average. A mate of mine had the vaccine and was hospitalised with covid a week later.

You need to send these figures to the BBC and ITV who both reported last night that the UK had over 1,000 deaths in the last 24 hours rather than over 1,000 reported in the last 24 hours. Wanted to put my foot through the TV. Whilst every death is awful the media keep painting a far worse picture than is necessary. Surely they can't all be stupid enough to not realise the difference.
They are dead people whenever they died , too much is made of daily numbers but they have to use someway of reporting it , everyone has known all along it is not actual day to day

BBC News just now. Merseyside worked out what we did weeks ago.

Being in higher restrictions helped GM and hurt Merseyside as they spent December free to do more things like attend football matches.

And boy did they. Seems they are struggling to keep hospital numbers down and may need extra hekp as they approach crisis from other parts of the NW such as GM.

Cannot believe how long it took them to cotton on to the obvious.

And Boris still saying we will exit lockdown into tiers.

If he really means that he deserves to be sacked.

Tiers literally created tears on Merseyside.
Agreed. Scousers have been victims of the Tories playing politics there with the mass testing. Take away the fact they had mass testing there and the numbers would’ve meant they were into tier 4 for us.

Agree. I was thinking that since the vaccination programme started 8th December we should be seeing a gradual drop from fairly soon now.

Those celebrating at today's case numbers being low. If you live in the North West sorry.

Whilst most places have fallen the North West had by far its worst ever numbers and rose by nearly 1400 today to 7161.

First time ever in the 7000s. And not far behind the southern regions.

This may now quickly turn into a disaster and fast rising deaths and the delay in acting looks like it may have been long enough to tip the NW over the edge with this new variant.

I had better not say what I feel like saying next.
