Been extremely critical of the government, and I want them to roll it out quicker, but admittedly I won't jump on them in the first week. This time next week and there's still shortage issues, then fair enough.

They’re doing it, finally! I’ve been calling for this for months.. they’re finally saying if you don’t follow the rules you will contribute to killing people!

Boris also said “these people who are outside hospitals protesting and calling this whole thing a hoax simply need to grow up” WELL SAID!

The head of the NHS said “if you’re someone who sneaks into a hospital at nine o’clock and take a picture of an empty corridor and then post that on social media claiming the NHS is not overwhelmed... YOU ARE LYING, and you are contributing to the spread of false information, the virus and deaths” WELL SAID!

FINALLY!

All that was missing there was the army bloke coming in third and saying “we will work with the Police to lock these people up!”

Mrs BSS said whilst using the army to deliver supplies can they also be deployed to clear up some of the rule breakers at the same time.
Though her suggestion of using tanks to carry out both tasks did seem a bit over the top.

I am doing the data as I post so I just do a running commentary before I actually know.

But it was not hard to guess the likely explanation.

But until you do the numbers you never actually know.

It could easily flip the other way so best not to assume day to day. Though the pattern is well developed as to how things are going right now.

I was only making a sort of joke, but obviously aware it’s hardly a laughing matter and consequently didn’t feel putting a smiley on the post would be in the best of taste.

The vaccine roll-out is far too slow.

The UK has vaccinated 1.5 million people. This is a v good performance compared to most other countries, and I think you have to credit to the Govt for their efforts so far - but we need to go even faster

I’ll repeat, you have to be one special **** to break covid rules just because you see an MP doing so

It's basic psychology.

We behave how we perceive others to behave.

If flouting the rules is perceived as normal, more people will follow.

We can all help by (1) following the rules and (2) Saying that we and most other people are following the rules.

People don't generally like to be the misfit. At the start of this, I felt like a right prat wearing a mask in a shop. . Why? Because nobody else was.

I had a call from my boss in Germany today and apart from business we spoke about the vaccination process in our respective countries. He was scathing about the German roll out and he expects to get his first shot no earlier than the last quarter of this year (he is 50).

There is talk of Merkel being in talks with Russia to possibly obtain the Sputnik V vaccine and he said there is no fucking way he or his family would have that (or a Chinese one).

Our numbers will look unbelievable compared to theirs by the end of next week.

You would think being lumped in to tier 4 until at least mid-March people might take things a bit more seriously. Watched one heffalump walk around the supermarket chatting whilst their mask was tooked under their chin. Why do some people think they are above the rules and immune to the virus?
