Compared to getting to at least 325k/day as needed to hit his target.

He said specifically on Monday that they had 500k AZ and 500k Pfizer ready to use. They've used 200k in 3 days.

I had a call from my boss in Germany today and apart from business we spoke about the vaccination process in our respective countries. He was scathing about the German roll out and he expects to get his first shot no earlier than the last quarter of this year (he is 50).

There is talk of Merkel being in talks with Russia to possibly obtain the Sputnik V vaccine and he said there is no fucking way he or his family would have that (or a Chinese one).

Our numbers will look unbelievable compared to theirs by the end of next week.

Surely the EU medicines agency just needs to pull it's finger out and approve the O-AZ jab and get access to 400m vaccines being manufactured in Europe for them? That would be 75m vaccine doses for Germany alone.
Not all at once of course but there you go.

We're not looking too shaky considering the roll out is only three and a half weeks in.

I've had calls with colleagues in France, Italy and Holland this week and none of them are anywhere near ready to vaccinate large volumes of people.....my Italian colleague said they would be lucky to have everyone vaccinated by end of 2022!!

But when are the next batch due, no point ramping up now and having to stop. Just need to be ready for when the constant supply is there to roll out as fast as it arrives.
If we get to point its stock piling on shelves thats the time to start asking questions.
