Anyone that has lost taste and smell.

Go on amazon buy the strongest zinc tablets u can and lots of hot steamy showers .

After 2 weeks u will start to get a sniff back while showering and over the next few weeks it will return slowly .

Upto about 60% of what it was for me pre covid .

Got covid March 2020.

Make sure u thank me in 2 weeks ha its an awful thing to lose

First I knew I had it, had some dark chocolate gingers, couldn’t taste a thing, less that 20% wearing masks on my train into town yesterday, I’m not hopeful of a positive outcome.

Nope! Me neither pal. Doesn't help when you get the media calling it freedom day. People think it will be back to normality because restrictions are eased.

Very nervous doesn't feel like freedom day at all tomorrow.
Personally I think we will have a brief few weeks of liberties being almost fully restored but I think by September we will be locked down again in some form. Boris will buckle under the pressure from SAGE, Whitty and Vallance etc. Furlough scheme may have to come back in and restrictions over winter.
The reality is under everyone is fully vaccinated its going to be hard.

Am not going to go into why but about half the people I know flat out refuse to have it so ul never get everyone vaccinated.

In Cyprus the uptake in teens / early 20s is so low there paying you to take it.

This is as good as it gets we just got to crack on now

Vaccines are not 100% and a big danger of a new variants evading them I guess.

No vaccines are ever 100% but it doesn’t mean more lockdowns. Vaccines will be updated to account for variants in the same way the flu vaccine is every single year. Just crack on, abide by the rules and we’ll all be fine.

and what if hospitals/ICU units reach full capacity say in 4-5 weeks when cases are topping 100,000 ? Just ‘crack on’ ?

Anyone else still waiting to 'open up' and return back to normal?

I thought by now after one jab and in my favourite time of the year I'd be up for anything but it's really not the case.

How are you double jabbers feeling? Are you just getting on with life now or are you cautious that despite the double jabs that you still want to avoid it when cases are still high?

Why you that arsed, if the vaccine works you’ll be fine anyway?

You wouldn't mind people drink driving when you are out on the road then as you have a seat belt that works?
