Worryingly large increase in the number of cases in France yesterday. Fear that matters are going to deteriorate there over the next few weeks.

On day 6 of a 15 night hotel quarantine stay with the Mrs. We don’t even get our second swab until day 14. Meanwhile my dog (who flew over with us) is living it up with one of my wife’s colleagues…

Haha least someone is enjoying the beach!
My dog is going stir crazy not being able to go out. Only done 3 days of isolation so far.

Now this may be a daft question, I have had my 2 AZ jabs but in a attempt to be allowed in to the US could I get, for example, a couple of the Pfizer jabs and how could this effect me as I have already had the AZ jabs ?

The US allows any WHO approved jab for entry which the AZ is. I wouldn’t worry.

Was just looking at the Worldometer weekly trend page and if the list is ordered by new cases per million over the last 7 days, UK territories make up 5 of the top 10 out of 205 countries and territories. Out of the other 5 in the top 10, 4 of them are former British colonies. It's just coincidence but quite a remarkable one.

Hope he is okay now, as the pain from broken bones is excruciating and waiting 10 hours in AE to get sorted would make a few people confused
Cheers, he's losing it a bit, he said he thought he'd had the broken bones for weeks when in fact it was Sunday when he fell. It's sad to see as despite his age up to a couple of weeks ago he was completing the cryptic crossword in the Express everyday but now can't remember a few days of events. I'm hoping it's the physical pain that's causing the confusion but he's 88 and Covid restrictions have really hit him hard, thanks for your comments.

Edit

They kept him in hospital as his BP was low 111/71, it's usually about 150/90, I think that's why he fell on Sunday as he went dizzy before falling, just waiting to hear from the docs.

Hope he’s ok mate, hopefully out of hospital asap as that’s the last place you want him at the moment.
