It looks like the reason for this is because of the impact of the Delta variant in Israel. The original data related to the Alpha variant. Moving forward they should be able to sort this, unless an even stronger mutation happens.

I think this is the biggest fear for everyone. That said the vaccines are being tested and improved all the time, overall immunity is rapidly increasing, and treatments are improving. In Israel they are already testing vaccine tablets to replace jabs. I am still optimistic we will get on top of this.

I'm glad someone in this thread is (I know there are others) ive must read the last 15 pages and fucking hell it was more depressing than having to do work which ironically is what I was supposed to be doing whilst reading.

Feels like we're back to where all this started. The optimist in me thinks that it's just our way of topping and tailing this whole period in our lives. The pessimistic side though........

The fkn wankers are the government who have managed to negotiate a version of Brexit with the EU which has resulted in a shortage of 100,000 lorry drivers and loads of European companies no longer finding it worthwhile exporting to the UK. Consequently there's less stuff in the shops, and that's not down to the pandemic or the newspapers. I know it's the wrong thread for this but the focus of blame for any panic buying lies fair and square with the government.
