The most relevant data we should be being fed is how many hospital admissions there have been against the number of positive cases reported, then compare the death figures in the same way. We can then review historic data and make legitimate comparisons instead of constantly flagging up a meaningless number of cases of which the majority are probably asymptomatic.

I cannot believe the gullibility and naivety of the British public.

All this pinging and its harmful consequences is the creation and legacy solely of a man who should be arrested and charged with corporate manslaughter.

But out and about in the pubs in the Fringe festival no-one was wearing masks to the bar; it really has finished.

I can’t see what people like about queuing at the bar trying to catch the bar persons eye before someone next to you who can’t be arsed waiting their turn. It’s absolute shite. I actually really like table service. It’s like being abroad where it’s simply a matter of course. Long live table service - but not under a greedy Tory government cos folk are desperate to queue at that bar and catch the virus lol

My taste and smell has started to return, that’s weird in itself as it doesn’t just come back instantly, you have various smells and tastes that work and some that don’t. This morning’s coffee tastes strange but is nearly normal, whereas I had chicken last night and could taste that, but still couldn’t taste wine or beer.
