Just back from a call out to a care home , no test done on me , was so sad to see the screen and microphone the visitors and residents use to see each other

GM Weekly Pop Data after yesterday:~

Borough / Pop Today / 7 days ago / up or down wk to wk/ Testing is % of local population who have tested positive for Covid over past year.

Salford 426 / 612 / DOWN 190 Testing positive 13.1%

Manchester 353 / 478 / DOWN 125 Testing positive 13.6%

Oldham 343 / 633 / DOWN 290 Testing positive 13.6%

Rochdale 336 / 543 / DOWN 207 Testing positive 13.3%

Tameside 313 / 570 / DOWN 257 Testing positive 11.4%

Wigan 306 / 614 / DOWN 308 Testing positive 12.8%

Stockport 304 / 502 / DOWN 198 Testing positive 10.2 %

Trafford 296 / 466 / DOWN 170 Testing positive 10.3%

Bolton 231 / 434 / DOWN 203 Testing positive 13.3%

STILL EVERYONE DOWN BY THREE FIGURES IN THE WEEK BUT LOWERING DAILY.
.
Salford now alone over 400 and with Manchester went up today.

Probably only for a day. And with Bury the only place to go UP on the day.

Bolton back now to the lowest since Delta arrived in GM. And well clear in GM now.

Trafford's great scores have taken it below 300 and Stockport and Bury are both a good day from joining them.

Stockport up by 48 - on 10, 219 - and Trafford up by 53 to 10, 319

Stockport's better day increased its lead to 100.

Bolton again was the lowest Pop Score in GM today - just 31 - to 13, 275

Bury up 45 to 12, 498.

Manchester up 64 to 13, 600

Oldham up 47 to 13, 575 - which means Manchester increases its lead on the highest GM Pop Score title across the pandemic which Oldham briefly claimed when it was spiking a week or two ago.

Salford up 72 - to 13, 165 . Highest rise today.

Tameside up 36 second lowest today to 11, 381

And Wigan up 38 to 12, 798.

I’ve heard from someone who works in Pharma who also works with the Govt and also from a different source that there could be another type of lockdown in September. Is this some kind of urban myth that’s been whispered around? Surely it’s got to be rubbish.
