WALES DATA

NB This is for one day only - as usual - Friday.

Double dose Sat & Sun data tomorrow - again as usual here at weekends.

5 deaths - was 0 last week Starting to see the legacy of the jump up in cases recently a week or two delayed as deaths always will be

719 cases - was 1238 last week - BUT EVEN HERE WE SEE A GOOD WK TO WK FALL

4.9% positivity - was 5.0% last week - THOUGH THIS SHOWS FAR FEWER TESTS SO ONLY A SMALL FALL

Hospital Data (Last Sunday V Friday - no hospital data update for weekend until tomorrow.)

138 patients (Fri) - was 128 last week

19 ventilated (Fri) - was 26 last week

ZOE APP DATA

How real this is remains to be seen BUT the falls that began in data here over past week or so have accelerated today.

App(athy) (sorry!) must be a factor in people just not reporting in but the trend matches real life so cannot just be dismissed,

Predicted cases:- DOWN 3989 to 52, 829 - Biggest daily fall in weeks

Past Week cases:- 62, 502 - 62, 888 - 62, 369 - 60, 478 - 59, 299 - 58, 205 - 56, 818 - 52, 829

As you see the fall is accelerating. And is 10 K down on last weekend.

AND

Ongoing symptomatic cases down HUGE - by 12, 079 since yesterday from 806, 321 TO 794, 242

Past week numbers:- 767, 718 - 783, 674 - 795, 502 - 800, 689 - 804, 707 - 806, 741 - 806, 321 - 794, 242

As you would expect ongoing symptomatic cases took a week longer to start to fall as they are cases that last at least a week with symptoms.

But again the rise visibly slowed and has today dropped like a stone.

Hard to be too excited by an App BUT the trend is usually more reliable on Zoe than the actual numbers.

AND that trend is visibly obvious above and in line with the actual daily pattern of UK cases.

I never tire of reading these stories.

Only sad things is that hospitals treat these cunts that have tried to undermine society. I’d tell them to fuck back off to their studio to wheeze down the mic.

In the words of Ivan drago..if he dies he dies

Zoe regional data today

In the regions Zoe also shows everyone down.

Northern Ireland top region - DOWN to 632 / 1901 FROM 649 / 2000

London (top England region) DOWN to 989 / 1209 FROM 1063 / 1292

NE & Yorkshire (only other region with London and N Ireland in top watch zone) DOWN to 843 / 1202 FROM 921 / 1296

North West is out of the top red zone and DOWN to 774 / 1031 FROM 824 / 1089

The other regions just a bit below there.

IN the lowest watch zones still are:-

Wales DOWN to 292 / 577 FROM 318 / 602

But by far the best is Scotland - who are falling steadily every day and today DOWN to 230 /427 FROM 241 / 443

ZOE DATA GM BOROUGHS:

ESTIMATED ACTIVE CASES PER MILLION POPULATION YESTERDAY V TODAY

BOLTON UP 21 507 to 22 156

BURY DOWN 25 960 to 25 822 -

The above two easily highest in GM which is baffling given real cases show them to be 2 of the BEST 3 boroughs in GM consistently recently. Zoe is not getting them right UNLESS there is a lot of LONG COVID cases here lingering on perhaps???

MANCHESTER DOWN 18 275 to 16 673

OLDHAM UP 5131 to 7911

ROCHDALE UP 15 735 to 19 494 - biggest jump of the day and again hard to match with current numbers

SALFORD DOWN 14 636 to 11 827

STOCKPORT UP 8638 to 9919 - little more like the real data - fairly low but higher than it should be

TAMESIDE UP 7116 to 7300 - Best in GM according to Zoe! (And at 83 cases yesterday WAS lowest).

TRAFFORD UP 12 447 to 13, 076

WIGAN DOWN 12 065 to 10 250

CHESHIRE EAST (For Andy) Last few days: - 10 765 - 14 311 - 11 382 - 13 883 - 15750 - 14 984

TODAY:- DOWN to 13 533

CHORLEY IS THE WORST IN THE NORTH WEST outside GM on 22, 861 - But low scoring Bury is THE worst according to Zoe....Bury is ahead of where it should be BUT has in real data scored under 100 now for NINE consecutive days. FIrst time any GM borough has done that in weeks.

So Zoe gets NULL Points here.

LIVERPOOL now falling too like most of the NW - though up slightly today to 14 494

They CAN see coming trends and Zoe works best to suggest paths of very general trends. Not actual numbers.

And recall these are NOT cases today or this week but total ongoing cases in the boroughs.

Scotland Data
