Total cases 906 - DOWN 254 on Yesterday - The whole NW was DOWN by 488

So over par - which is good to fall more than the expected average

Wk to wk DOWN 424 when the NW is DOWN by 830

So again a bit over the expected fall here too.

BOROUGH / CASES TODAY / V YESTERDAY / V LAST WEEK

BOLTON 64 / DOWN 8 / DOWN 34

BURY 57 / DOWN 27 / DOWN 40

MANCHESTER 186 / DOWN 71 / DOWN 80

OLDHAM 95 / DOWN 26 / DOWN 32

ROCHDALE 77 / DOWN 4 / DOWN 53

SALFORD 103 / DOWN 38 / DOWN 11

STOCKPORT 123 / UP 16 / UP 16

TAMESIDE 62 / DOWN 31 / DOWN 43

TRAFFORD 61 / DOWN 32 / DOWN 55

WIGAN 78 / DOWN 33 / DOWN 92

SEVEN boroughs sub 100 for first time in a good while.

More modest week to week falls now as expected. But everyone down day to day and week to week

Even Manchester was well down.

Most will see weekly Pop Score falls - which is the number that matters most to chart the progress of the pandemic in GM.

However, someone forgot to tell Stockport as you see. Not a serious reverse but stands out from the crowd in the wrong way today.

Hopefully it will make up for it tomorrow.

3 figure deaths tomorrow will be reported in the usual fashion by the media, no doubt.….

Greater Manchester

Weekly total cases:-

Bury 534 , Bolton 590, Tameside 635, Rochdale 640, Trafford 643, Oldham 786, Stockport 851 , Wigan 851 , Salford 1073, Manchester 1894

The boroughs are all coming closer together and the bigger ones have the most cases.

Wigan - through the roof 2 or 3 weeks ago and one bad day for Stockport and they are suddenly not over 1000 apart but exactly the same score!

That is how it should be in normal times. Wigan and Stockport used to vie daily with Bury for the lowest weekly score.

If that happens again normality will have returned to GM.

Absolute madness they have reopened the nightclubs, can't believe what I am seeing to be honest.
Don't want to deprive the young of enjoying themselves but a high percentage will not be fully vaccinated and thus potential carriers.
What on earth are our leaders thinking?

2 weeks on from nightclubs opening and all the outrage on here such as this. At the moment looks like our leaders knew best after all.

If they do not get by now that Tuesday is nearly always the biggest day because of the non registrations over the weekend being added on they are not doing their job. It is hardly rocket science.

But then go check the numbers is the job usually given to the tea boy on Summer work experience.
