NHS on the verge of collapse due to A&E admissions (not Covid related). Every hospital under the sun is at or near 4h breach threshold.
All down to conditions not treated previously due to Covid.
Not all down to conditions not treated though some will be probably, short staff and GPs not opening up. Bed blocking due to lack of care staff in the homes and community causing many problems in hospitals too.
 
Death figures in the UK to become horribly skewed in January.
908 people die a day on average in the UK.
If a large number of these catch Covid then they will be counted as Covid deaths. Even if it was just a sniffle

Agreed but those wanting admission are mainly due to conditions not being treated previously

It's more like 1,500 deaths per day on average and this rises a little in mid-winter.
