Spoke to the nurse at public health earlier as I’m getting worse rather than recovering.
Advised me id probably need antibiotics and to book an appt with m GP (couldn’t get one so will try tomorrow morning).
Really painful when I use my steroid inhaler (like burning lungs).
She mentioned the raft of younger, fitter people getting it now (including a 27 year old Personal Trainer who was hospitalised at the weekend).

This VIT D thing though....I’ve been taken this daily for years clearly (with COVID19) it’s not made an ounce of difference.

A positive to take from this perhaps, will be the strength of infection couid bode well for either antibodies or T/B cells in the future....but I just need to get over this first.

Shit mate, sorry to hear you're not on the recovery. Hopefully it'll soon change. Only thing I'll say, and apologies if I'm speaking out of turn, but perhaps the vit D is helping although it might not feel like it right now. Keep at it blue, deep breaths when you can and try to relax, try and think of the simpler things.

Day 10 since symptoms first appeared and thankfully just left with some fatigue and complete loss of taste/smell, and a certain amount of anxiety from a mental point of view. Cough has waned as time went on and fever only lasted a couple of days near the beginning, even that was settled with some paracetamol. Confined myself to the room until Saturday, keeping out the way of the wife and 4 year old. Made it downstairs the past couple of days whilst still keeping a distance from them and touching as little as possible throughout the house.

Tomorrow, I get to give my little un a hug. Can't bloody wait.
Get well soon mate !

Thanks mate....possibly, I don’t want to dismiss it outright and over the past few years taking vits & running in all weather I’ve hardly ever become ill. Aside from having really restricted breathing I’m not sure I can be any worse.

Struggle to take really deep breaths (and the inhaler) as my lungs hurt. Catch 22 really :(

thanks bud

Just reading an article on the Sky News app entitled ‘COVID -19 : UK currently has highest Coronavirus death rate in the world, researchers say’
How have we ended up like this?
Is it because we have maintained connections with the rest if the world throughout this pandemic?

Because we sang happy birthday and clapped our hands as if we were going to a childs birthday party instead of closing the borders and looking after our own

Because of a truly inept government. It's about 90% as simple as that.

Keep your eye on the breathing. If it gets worse call 111. Have you got an oximeter? Checks your blood oxygen levels and can help show signs of deterioration. If not order one on next day delivery. Better safe than sorry in these situations.

This just further strengthens the argument that it came out of a lab, and has been given game of function (man made to be more infectious).
You (and everyone else who thinks like this) have missed the point of what was meant by “coming out of a lab”. If it did “come out of the lab” they’re saying it has, they’re not saying it was man-made, because this lab they’re pointing to was a lab of scientists testing bats for the viruses they carry and it transferred to a human by mistake.

This might not even be the true source of the virus, but it’s certainly not about the virus being man-made.
