Well maybe locking down earlier back in March when we had perfect hindsight what was coming across from Italy and Spain.
Oh and not having a covid Xmas shopping blow out in December especially when we knew about a new strain and cases and deaths were rising.
Oh and listening to the scientists back in September instead of Rishi Sunak and the Great Barrington nutters who (the scientists) were advising lockdown when we had the hindsight of numbers rising.

Oh yeah and we the ppe fiasco, masks and schools u turns, test and trace shambles. A joke !

Oh and back in February your inalienable right to go to the pub dressed as Clark Kent, change into Superman and shake hands with Covid patients.

Whether it’s 10 months late or not, the news we are potentially going to solidify our borders even more by using empty hotels for quarantine can only be a good thing.

I still thinks it's a total scandal that in the middle of a pandemic with all the knowledge they had the government introduced the subsidiary meal scheme , effectively flooding bars and restaurants with future ICU cases and unfortunately future deaths . There should be a criminal investigation when all the dust settles, gambling with the nations lives and nobody seems to have called them out on it .

We've been way too late all through this.

I think he was more being simplistic with his post, that regardless of what we do the end position of majority of countries will be similar. And of course, in that comment I mean countries of similar populations and positions in the world etc.
