The government figures reported on Wednesday afternoon showed another 1,041 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for the virus.

This was a significant increase from the 830 deaths reported on Tuesday, with both days likely to contain some deaths that took place over the Christmas and New Year period that have only just been reported.

There were also another 62,322 cases reported, an increase from Tuesday's 60,916 cases.

Yeah just have dec 25 th , no problem , kids and students back to education, no problem

Can’t help feeling worried. This lot in charge does not fill me with confidence. Pfizer do not recommend leaving 12 weeks between doses - that is worrying. Are we being guinea pigs? Are this lot grasping at straws to try and contain this damn virus?
i'd say its a bit 'collateral damage' if you get my point' who other than Pfizer could recomend the 12 weeks, like you say confidence is at an all time low now, i was at hospital this morning having stitches removed and the nurse saying - dont you just know there is going to be one massive cock up coming to light in the near future

The chief of the Royal College of Nursing was on the news last night saying the hoops were ridiculous. I suppose he has a beef with the NHS too?

And it’s just been announced that they are removing some of the more ‘ridiculous’ requirements for the volunteers.

I raised the issue last week and have had it the neck from all those hard of thinking.

Apology accepted from all of the abusers.
Abuse?? Crikey fella, be careful coming down of that horse. It looks really high.

That is rather key , if they didnt know what a virus was
yet they wore masks, by law in the US, practiced social distancing and were advised to keep houses ventilated. They knew it was airborne and passed from person to person. This current virus is following the course the Spanish flu did almost exactly.

as far as I know:
adjuvant vaccine - a way of diluting the antigen quantity without losing efficacy, typically by adding something else to the vaccine.

So the same amount of active agent can be used to make more doses, and possibly single dose options.
It's not really to stop losing efficacy, it's to boost it. Adjuvants increase the bodies ability to recognise the vaccine and increase the immune response, so you get better protection.

None. Which was why we were surprised and left scratching our heads. The practice she goes to is used by many young people so we’re wondering if there are that many waiting for it. For what it’s worth its in Fylde, Lancs.

Maybe I should call my parents and ask them to visit from Preston!

You poor flower!

You said it was the SJWs taking over. It was unnamed officials working in an institution ruled by a Conservative government for over a decade.

Loads of reasons these rules exist. All of them come from the top, they are 'neccessities' to legally protect the organisation and those working in it. No way the people involved were agenda-ing. The presence of the law is a fact of life at work. You know, the law as governed for more than a decade by the conservative government.

Glad they got rid of some. Good common sense management. Not had much opportunity to say THAT.
