Tricky this, as going into poorly ventilated supermarkets, even with masks on and distancing, is now being depicted as a hazardous activity with new the new more transmissible strain and higher levels of asymptomatic community infection.If people can get to the supermarket without having to shield then they should do, it shouldn't be just for convenience or because they can. Slots should be prioritised for those who genuinely need it.
My wife has got paranoid about me going in supermarkets since Christmas, so I keep trips to less busy times and quick shops, but she's got deliveries from Iceland (in Sheffield) arranged really easily.
