We simply have to start seeing significant changes soon. 400k a day average vaccines say and let’s say 30k a day actually catching it? 11 million been vaccinated. 49 million not but 10 million of them have had it. 10 million kids it doesn’t matter. We are down to about 30 million potentially still exposed? They could be vaccinated in 60 days at this rate?
Life should hopefully be returning by Easter, which is first weekend in April. That’s the line in the sand I’m working towards.

The encouraging trend is that the rolling 7 day average is still increasing. Based on data up to 4th Feb it is now at 440K per day (i.e., it's gone up by 9K in just one day).

One week ago it was 375K/day.
Just checked that. You are right. 7-day average is now 440k per day implying c.15.8m 1st doses by 15th Feb

After 4 days out of hospital under the care of the “virtual Covid ward”, I’m feeling much better. I use the oxygen provided for about an hour a day, usually after my sister has visited and I feel a little winded for talking, which is a strange feeling.

Again it may sound silly but I yawned this morning and felt like I took in a big breath without coughing - that genuinely seemed a million miles away last week.

Making small steps each day, making tea, going out for a drive with the old man and Mrs, no destination just drive around and take in some fresh air.

Since getting Covid and spending a week in hospital, I lost just under 2 stone which I could do with tbf...my appetite completely disappeared leading up to hospital, but the steroids they give you (dexamethasone) is a wonder drug, and I was told to wait for my appetite come back with vengeance; took about an hour!

Me and the old man are taking it very easy whilst trying to making a conscious effort to push to do something each day. Thank Yaya that I have the Mrs though, she has been an absolute God send throughout everything we’ve been through this year, and continues to look after us every day. Not sure if what I would’ve done without her.

Anyone suffering I hope your feeling a bit better today and can see some small light at the end of the tunnel.

The 7 day average is currently growing 3.0%/day.

This time next week it could be up 540K/day if it maintains current trajectory.

Obviously there are no guarantees, as it depends on vaccine supply, no serious weather disruption, steps taken to minimise staff fatigue, etc.

On the staff side they are still recruiting and training new vaccinators so this will help.

There's likely a supply limit. At some point though we'll get supplies from Moderna. Hoping for two very large figures today and tomorrow for vaccination

Clickbait.
Telegraph is also running the story so it certainly looks like it is at least being discussed by government ministers . Just a thought is it a ruse so they don’t have to pay furlough money to the pubs & restaurants. Can’t see any point in pubs opening without alcohol and who wants a meal without a nice glass of wine .

Has anyone suffered a reaction from having the Covid vaccine ?
I had it Thursday Morning .Started feeling rough in the Evening and most of Friday
Right as rain now though
Much rather have a small reaction to it than catching it proper
Remember having a reaction from a typhoid jab 30 years ago so I must just be an unlucky fu*ker when it comes to vaccines
