It’s a result of doing more tests, every day, than the rest of Europe combined. Is this the beginning of the fallout of Wembley and surrounding areas?

Why is it, it doesn’t matter how many go in and come out. Only matters how many are in, if that keeps growing too much we have a problem , if it doesn’t grow too much we don’t.Does your data source show discharges as well? That's key.
Not really - though that likely helped it spread. Delta is so infective was always going to colonise the country, NW just grabbed it first. Is this the beginning of the fallout of Wembley and surrounding areas?
Best wishes to you all pal.All five of us have the virus so I can give a fairly good description of how ill it makes you. I'd describe it as worse than a heavy cold but not as bad as influenza. It's not pleasant and we are nowhere near OK for work/school but none of us are anywhere near to hospitalisation. The family ages are me (51), my wife (47), both healthy and 2xjabbed. Kids are 15,13 and 13.
It's a fucking strange illness I must say. The overriding symptom is probably a continual headache which I've had for well over a week. I burnt the roof of my mouth a fortnight ago and it turned into a big ulcer which hasnt gone. Retrospectively I think that was the very first symptom. My son also has ulcers on his tongue and around his mouth. I tweaked two muscles in my wrists in the gym and the aching won't go away. It's almost like it attacks the weak points in your body. We are all coughing and sneezing and struggling to sleep.
To be fair, on the face it, it looks like a wise decision to let it rip through now with how infectious delta appears to be and that people who are double jabbed get it too.Not really - though that likely helped it spread. It will not just be the UK. Every part of the world will take off like this.
They clearly decided to get this over with and the increase in spectators to full houses was part of the strategy to let those willing to chance it be the drivers of this chain that they decided was better over with ASAP in the summer as opposed to bit by bit into the winter,
Never installed itDon't understand why people just don't delete the NHS App
People gave up weeks agoMore virtue signaling by most supermarkets asking folks to watr a mask (only Liddl and Morriston to go).
They refuse to challenge people who are not wearing masks but chuck people out who complain.
Pathetic.
It might not feel like it at times, AB, but it will. It will end.Sometimes I feel like this thread will sadly still be going strong indefinitely, this whole thing is never actually ending is it?

Not gonna lie, deleted the app a while ago and even work said we should disable whilst there.Got pinged today isolate for 8 days
Yes, living in perpetual fear is an unhealthy condition. Like living in Cumnock…I'm clinging to anything for cope, Healdplace stats on the North West and Scotland Plateau is that cope atm. Just one of those things, always in the back of my mind. Can be sitting having a laugh with family or mates then 10minutes later it's as if someone rings a bell and Covid is on your mind again, can't wait until all that is gone. (Don't we all!!)

GM Weekly Pop Data after today:~
Borough / Pop Today / 7 days ago / up or down wk to wk/ Testing is % of local population who have tested positive for Covid over past year.
As ever with Pop going up is bad, going down good - the higher the number the better or worse depending on direction moving. The Pop is total cases in past week versus 100,000 POPulation to even out the comparison versus size and expected cases based on numbers living there.
Oldham 716 / 586 / UP 130 Testing positive 12.3%
Rochdale 675 / 516 / UP 159 Testing positive 12.2%
Wigan 639 / 526 / UP 113 Testing positive 11.6%
Salford 583 / 501 / UP 82 Testing positive 11.9%
Tameside 538 / / 443 / UP 95 Testing positive 10.3%
Trafford 536 / 494 / UP 42 Testing positive 9.4%
Manchester 536 / 501 / UP 35 Testing positive 12.6%
Bury 496 / 369 / UP 127 Testing positive 11.5%
Stockport 493 / 369 / UP 124 Testing positive 9.2
Bolton 396 / 307 / UP 89 Testing positive 12.4%
Oldham tops 700, Cannot recall the last time any GM borough was that high.
But there is really nobody in GM anything but way up on where it has been all year, As the big week to week jumps prove. AS yet no sign of this easing off either.
Trafford and Manchester on the same Pop Score is another oddity. Delta is a real leveller.
Stockport had a better day than Bury today though both were well up. So Stockport retook second place ahead of Bury, Both on the verge of going into the 500s that I do not think Stockport has ever done before. And Bolton looks a day away from the 400s and I am fairly sire we have never had all of GM that high before/
Stockport up 83 - its highest in months - to 9213 - and Trafford up by 88 - to reach 9389. So Stockport's lead rises to 176 after a few days where Trafford was clawing it back,
The rate these two are going their stay as the only two under the 10K club in GM may not reach the end of the month.
Bolton up 73 to 12, 442. The lowest Pop Score rise today again If 73 is that!
Manchester up 84 - now on 12, 579 .
Rochdale up 105 - first of several ton uppers today - onto 12, 217
Alongside Oldham - who went up 131 - biggest Pop Rise I can recall in one day in GM now on 12, 355.
Salford another 100 plus rise of 106 to 11, 895.
Bury up 102 also in three figures to 11, 534 - so lost its lead over Stockport by going up 19 points more today. Shows how case numbers can be misleading alone.
Wigan up by a staggering 117 to skip the entire 11, 500s and land on 11, 604
Tameside had a better day only up 87 to 10, 257.
