It’s the pain that’s annoying me though, but I guess like football no pain without gain!

The BA2 wave is the culprit for the new wave, but experience from other countries shows it won't be disastrous.

We might expect more future waves for covid than other diseases because of the high infectiousness.

Oh I hope everything goes ok for you all. I’ve just been told I’ll be here for another couple of days at least. Very good job that this weekend’s match is an away game!!! :-)

They ask you what matter most to you and I said my family followed by Manchester City so it’s on my board!! *lol*

Today's Zoe graph showing even faster growth unfortunately. Not at this new highest ever peak yet.

Ongoing cases on 2,929,423 - will top 3 million ongoing cases this weekend for the first time ever.

Latest estimate for new cases today is 282,406 - another new record and up 13,702 on yesterday - also a new high increase.

As you can see the upward curve is even steeper than just before Christmas with the orginal Omicron wave.

Is it a coincidence that as their funding gets removed they predict the highest ever number of infections? I know its only circumstantial but around Xmas almost everyone I knew caught it. At the moment I probably know 2 or 3 that have had it in the last few weeks, more than the weeks before but nothing like the end of December.

I smell a rat here.
