His daughter had tweeted in early January that some family and friends had caught Covid but were vaccinated so it’s not clear yet if Meat Loaf was one of them. It seems he was against mandatory vaccinations though. Sadly it might be better if he wasn’t vaccinated as high profile victims might encourage some doubters to have it.

No but he would be alive and be with his family and entertaining people , having another condition or two does not mean you die early or would have died if you didnt catch covid , you are getting as bad as the other loon on here
The anti-vaxer couple I rent a room from have covid. She has symptoms like a cold and he is coughing and spluttering all over the place. He is complaining of aches and pains in his leg. It hasn't stopped them from going out for walks and shopping though.
