Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

All future national league tiers 3 through to tier 9 are now cancelled and all results are also expunged. The same applies to all womens leagues 3 through to 7 with all their results expunged. How much longer can the FA and the other football bodies hope before they come to the same conclusion. It is time they stopped burying their hand in the sand and come to the same conclusion.

Spot on.
And in the same way we are going to remember the despicable behaviour of Wetherspoons, Easy Jet, Branson,Sports Direct and Rick Stein I hope fans remember which clubs try to exploit the situation and make them never forget once this is over.

RESULTS EXPUNGED could soon be the new most hated phrase on Merseyside.
Although it will never take the place of WORKING FOR A LIVING.

Once a players out of contract he’s out of contract.
I was under the misapprehension that the PL, FA, Sky, BT and the media in general had no say in contract law, as it was between the individual parties.
Have FIFA and UEFA now agreed that, as football is a special case, they can themselves override a country's legislation to extend contracts unilaterally?
I look forward to the court case. CAS re going to be rather busy!

I think those who have a contract just have to stay where they are for another season or at least to january,if things are still the same in the summer which i think it will be

A bit dramatic, you sure Liverpool are now controlling how the world reacts to this crisis.
Without a shadow of a doubt that the Liverpool cheerleaders are continuously calling for the league to be started up ASAP.
Even this morning we had the unedifying sight of Ms Reddy calling for internment camps for the PL so that the games can go ahead.

Your club, the media that supports it and it’s multitudes of sickening two bit past players are an absolute disgrace.
The world is in the grip of a pandemic and all they care about is restarting football, and yet you have no shame in coming on here and calling posters out.

You personally are a disgrace for doing so.

Edit
I should also add that you twisting what I actually posted is typical of the fetid shit you post.

I wouldn’t mind but a null and void season arguably costs City more than any other club in the country, including Liverpool, given that we already had the League Cup in the bag and were still in the FA Cup, along with a very good chance of finally winning the CL. I’d happily see all that sacrificed and football only resuming at a time when it’s considered safe to do so, rather than it all starting up again too soon.

Football really is irrelevant at this moment in time
