I wouldn’t mind but a null and void season arguably costs City more than any other club in the country, including Liverpool, given that we already had the League Cup in the bag and were still in the FA Cup, along with a very good chance of finally winning the CL. I’d happily see all that sacrificed and football only resuming at a time when it’s considered safe to do so, rather than it all starting up again too soon.

How the media and the PL can even be discussing resumption of the league whilst we have real heroes putting their lives on the line 24/7 leaves a real sour taste in the mouth.

A bit dramatic, you sure Liverpool are now controlling how the world reacts to this crisis.

Liverpool are not controlling it, the media (who benefit financially), the PL (who benefit financially) want this season finished. It's worth sooooo much money to all involved.

The PL have been banging the drum and so have the LFC friendly media, they want this season finished and an LFC win, with their global fanbase, will bring the money rolling back in.

Like the PL chief said, "we can't have city winning the league like they did"

LFC are establishment, city are anti establishment.

The FA Cup final could be played in the autumn, and possibly as late as October 2020. The Football Association are also exploring ways of getting the ties played with behind-closed-doors, but no date has yet been set on when they might take place.

What is it they are not getting that behind closed doors is no different for the players,they are still humans who are going to get or be isolating because others have it,it is a contact sport with tons of gob all over the place not to mention all the coaches,staff,ambulance crew,physios etc etc etc

I have thought for a while they were on a different planet and so they are

Are rugby leagues trying to get all their games played behind closed doors ?

Are the cricket leagues trying to get their leagues played behind closed doors ?

Are the National Hockey league trying to play their leagues behind closed doors ?

Are the Cycling events trying to get their events played in empty velodrome ?

You get the point is it just football ?

It’s amazing with 14, 000 plus European deaths and rising, Football is still being talked about by the authorities as some almost essential in life. The FA, Premier League, UEFA and some of the clubs should be ashamed.

Will be interesting to see how many people realise that they actually don’t need it in their lives when it comes back and fuck it off completely.
