look , spurs are the most corrupt club in english football - what they get up to you don't want to know
Over the years, of course there has been corrupt officiating... whether the historical corruption could ever be proved is another matter.
As Sir John Dalberg-Acton once said... "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
I do!look , spurs are the most corrupt club in english football - what they get up to you don't want to know
Ok now I'm lost here....what is this gif supposed to represent?
I fail to see how offsides cannot presently be determined by means of technology.
How many times did the ginger pig's hatchet tackles - a yellow card for practically any other player - simply get laughed away by refs and pundits alike?Just a question: Why does everyone on here seem to think that every single referee in the league is corrupt in favour of united?
We get no more decisions in our favour than any other team; if someone on here can post statistics that prove otherwise I would genuinely hold my hands up and say fair enough. Don't get me wrong though, I do admit that at times we get questionable decisions in our favour but reading posts in not just this thread but others, one would think that in every single match played in the history of United's club EVERY decision goes our way.
I think what it is is confirmation bias. Basically you guys are so hell-bent on this idea that united get all the decisions that you overlook ones that don't go our way.
I'm going to give an example: That ball that Roy Carroll fumbled against Tottenham which led to a goal that wasn't given- this incident is brought up time and time again and even years after, and used to prove that there is some sort of corruption in united's favour. However, in RVP's first season with us he scored a goal against (reading I think it was) which was similar to the tottenham against Roy Carroll and Rvp's goal that day was disallowed. No one remembers this.

"(Snigger) Look at good ol' scholsey there, could have took his shin off, but it's not his fault, he can't tackle don't you know"
"(Snigger) I think he knows exactly what he's doing. He's just left a 'bit in' on the player there. Nothing wrong with that."
Bogbrush head should be a fucking pariah of the game the amount of times he smashes some poor **** in the face with his elbows, but like 'good ol' scholsey', because they play for your shitty fucking shirt, it's simply ignored time and again.
How many times have you watched him do this and thought, hand on heart, that should be yellow or red?
I realise what it would entail in terms of three or four sensors on players' bodies (the rule could be adopted to exclude arms) - and within the ball - but beyond that I don't believe it would require, as you suggest, very good AI. I would be shocked if the technology wasn't currently in circulation to effectuate this. It will probably need some referee's assistant being exposed for being on the take for the idea to gather enough momentum and traction though.Video replays maybe but there would have to be sensors on every part of every players bodies and very good AI to judge offsides. The margins can be so slim.
