Corruption in English football?

Klopp basically said the game was corrupt in his post match interview last night. If he knows it and is prepared to speak out, why are people, some on here, still denying it ?

But I thought it was only bent in favour of Liverpool and Man U ?

the game would be better if penalties didn't exist, too many non threatening or non goal scoring situations are rewarded with a free shot against the keeper from 12 yards which more often than not results in a goal. There's not really any other solution though as you can't really award free kicks in the box en masse.

Plus loads of players pad their stats with penalties, two Portuguese ones in particular.

Hopefully with these 2 big girls blouses that are the rags and the dippers start squabbling over who gets the most favours from the corruption that they have instilled into the FA, then the whole world gets to see whats going on here in England's Premier League.
It will become a laughing stock and the bent fuckers at the top will be shitting bricks at the "wrong type" of exposure that it will create.
So blinded by greed are these "2 giants" of the English game, that they fail to realise that in bickering they are undercovering the truth for all the world to see.

Yes, but not in the same year.
Liverpool are quite good, and are "joint top" with a team who clearly aren't.
Klopp is confused, because last year there are at least a couple more penalties they would have had. Confidence saps quickly. Opposing teams think they have a chance.
Ole is on a roll, coaching is easy, he's sussed it - "get in the box, trip yourself up and fall over". Penalty. (SOO thread no longer necessary)
I've always thought it was bent. Not to favour one team but to favour a story. Utd were done over in the game v Wigan in our first Prem win, they were ahead of us and it made the telly more interesting for the "Match of the Century" - they thought Utd would win anyway. We won every game in the run in, they lost to us, drew (ha ha) with Everton, so we wo on GD.
This year may be the Utd recovery / redemption story. But I doubt even Sky can do it with that shower of .... without 50 pens, which really would stand out.
So this year is - the most even league ever. And we're showing pretty much every game. So loads of games matter. Great telly. Watch it. £££

Rant. red wine.

Posters like yourselves still deny there is corruption and you always say 'so why doesn't someone speak out'.
Well now someone has, not a man down the pub sat in a corner, not even a bluemoon poster but the manager of the current champions of England. He has basically said that the rags are being given a helping hand through penalties. What would it take to get you to admit that what is happening is bent?

I honestly don't know why people are so averse to thinking corruption is prevalent in football. It's there in less lucrative sports than football, and corruption is a very human thing and pervades every aspect of life and society. It has happened in Serie A and other leagues so why not the richest, most televised league on the planet?

It makes me wonder why I still watch it tbh, probably the very slim hope that I am wrong and the refs are just clueless. But even a monkey could get some of those decisions right that have been gotten wrong. I just know it makes me angry to see United get yet another bollocks penalty but have their fans talk like it is legit and basically demean anyone who calls out this nonsense. It's not just the big decisions like penalties either, it's all the little decisions that add up and serve to demoralise the opposition and revitalise United. For instance being able to kick the opposition constantly without being reprimanded. Or when fred should have been sent off for sticking the head in vs PSG but got away with it. That wouldn't have happened for just about any other club in Europe. The fact the useless **** got himself sent off later on anyway is by the by, he should have been off then.
